About ORA
Who We Are
Founded on 23 August 1923, the Old Rafflesians' Association (ORA) began with Song Ong Siang as its first President and Seah Seng Kang as the inaugural Secretary. Serving as a dynamic alumni network, ORA unites Rafflesians across generations, strengthening bonds and fostering a deep sense of community. Over the years, it has been instrumental in advancing Raffles Institution’s mission by organising events, providing mentorship opportunities, and supporting the school's growth. Through these efforts, ORA continues to uphold the Rafflesian spirit, preserving its values and traditions for future generations.
Mission & Vision
Mission: To strengthen the Rafflesian spirit through community, engagement, and philanthropy.
Vision: A thriving global network of Rafflesians making a meaningful impact.
President's Message
Dear Rafflesians,
Welcome to the revamped ORA website — a refreshed digital home for the Rafflesian family and community.

I’m proud to share that this platform is more than just an information portal. It reflects our collective effort to build a vibrant and connected Rafflesian community — one where friendships are renewed, professional networks are expanded, and new ideas and collaborations can take root.

ORA exists to be the bridge that connects generations of Rafflesians from Raffles Institution, Raffles Girls’ School, and Raffles Junior College. Through this site, we hope to showcase the wide range of events and initiatives organised by ORA and our interest groups — from sports and social gatherings to cultural, community, and business networking activities.

One of our greatest strengths lies in our interest groups, which have shown how shared passions and professional aspirations can bring Rafflesians together across different cohorts. These groups offer meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and mentorship — whether you're a student just starting out, a young alumnus, or an experienced professional looking to give back.

We also hope this website becomes your go-to place to stay connected — whether it's finding out what events are coming up, reconnecting with old friends, getting involved in community or school support efforts, exploring mentorship and networking opportunities, or simply giving back in the true Rafflesian spirit of paying it forward.

Most importantly, we hope this platform helps us reach more Rafflesians — to not only participate in our activities, but also to step forward and contribute to the larger community in your own way.

I encourage you to explore, get involved, and help us grow this network into something we can all be proud of.
Warm regards,
